While many teams using a Design Sprint have clarity around and consensus on the problem they are solving, that’s not always the case. If emotions are running high or if the problem you want to solve isn’t agreed upon by the team, the Hopes and Fears exercise is a great alternative to the Goals and Anti-Goals activity. Hopes and Fears elicits emotionally-driven responses, which helps to identify any skepticism surrounding the process or problem being solved. This helps get the team on the same page.
Learn how you can run this activity to understand what your team wants out of the sprint in this week’s Design Sprint Short.
